Nectar des Bertrands 2018 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge – 93 points
Inky dark colour with a purple hue. Fine layers of spice, violet, ripe dark berries, cassis and tobacco. The palate is dense, weighty and modern with good proportions, a well-kept acidity, ripe tannin, balanced oak and a long meaty finish. Very good.
Nectar des Bertrands 2019 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge – 91 points
Inky dark purple colour. Modern nose with new oak, toast, sweet spices, ripe dark berries, cassis and tobacco leaf. The palate is ample with good proportions, grainy tannin, fine oak integration, lush dark fruit and a long persistency.
Diamant Rouge 2018 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge – 90 points
Inky dark colour with a purple hue. The nose offers ripe fruit, wild berry notes, butterscotch, mild oak and tobacco leaf. Medium weight with generous fruit flavours, youthful but ripe tannin, and a rather long finish. Modern and stylish.
Château Les Bertrands – Cuvée Prestige 2019 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge – 88 points
Medium deep ruby red colour. The nose offers fresh red berries, plum, wild herbs and tobacco leaf with discreet oak notes. Medium bodied palate, youthful texture with grippy tannin, fresh red berry flavours with pepper, clove and some herbal notes, a fresh backbone and a rather long finish.
Château Les Bertrands – Authentique 2020 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Rouge – 87 points
Bright dark purple colour. Very youthful aromas, freshly crushed berries, some herbal spices, no notion of oak. Medium body, rounded extract, fresh acidity, primary fruit notes, lighter structure but balanced in a fresh drink friendly style.
Château Les Bertrands – Cuvée Prestige 2020 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Blanc – 91 points
Bright light golden colour. Intense and bold expression with hints of mango, peach, sweet citrus, some oak and toast notes. Still a youthful palate with present oak but well-balanced with good layers and generous fruit and a long finish. Keep for another few years.
Château Les Bertrands – Cuvée Tradition 2020 Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux Blanc – 89 points
Medium deep straw colour with a copper hue. Ripe and bold expression with yellow fruit, honey and floral notes. Good volume with generous fruit, a rounded acidity and fine length.
